Lillian Beatrice (Epps) Jones

Lillian B. Jones, of Charleston, W. Virginia, born August 19, 1930, to the late Harry Z. and Annie R. Epps, exchanged labor for rest and reward on Saturday, February 11, 2012. She was a longtime educator and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Lillian spent the last portion of her life at The Forum at Knightsbridge, a nursing facility in Columbus, OH, where she was surrounded with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Otis Z. Jones, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Lewis S. Jones, Jr. of Portage, IN, Wilhemina A. (Freddie) Paulin of Philadelphia, PA, Maritza Gist of Columbus, OH, and Royal Jones of Lynchburg, VA; daughter-in-law Ruby J. Coats Jones of Columbus, OH; five grandsons, Otis Z. II (Sharon L.), Colin A. (Imani), and Michael A. Jones, all of Columbus, OH, Lyron K. Paulin of Philadelphia, PA, and Kidone Fish of Charleston, WV; six great grandchildren, one sister Christine Merriweather of South Ozone Park, NY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
