Linda C. Smith

Linda Carol (Giles) Smith, was born on August 12, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio and passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. A graduate of Columbus East High School and Central State University, Linda retired from the Columbus City Schools system after 35 years of service. She was an active member of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. Gamma Alpha Chapter for 25 years. Linda is preceded in death by her mother Mary E. Moore James. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Andrew L. Smith Jr.; daughters, Leisan C. Smith, Leia C. Smith; granddaughter Maleia C. Smith; step-daughters, Angela Harrington (Ryan Sr.), Alesia Smith; grandchildren Brandon Smith, Ryan Harrington Jr., M. Stephen O’Daniel III, Ashley Harrington; brother, Ricky A. Moore; honorary daughter, Shana Miller; special friend Jackie Bunch and a host of other family and friends.
