Linda F. Hairston

Linda F. Hudson Hairston gained her wings on Thursday evening, January 20, 2022 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Linda, along with twin sister Brenda, was born August 23, 1955 in Welch, WV to Inez Hudson. Linda was a product of McDowell County WV school system, graduation from East Welch High School in 1974. She spent her childhood growing up in McDowell County WV. Linda and Edward (Skeet) were united in holy matrimony on July 20, 2001 in Columbus, OH. They eventually moved to Columbus after McDowell County was hit with the first major flood that devastated the area. They eventually made their home in Groveport, OH for a number of years. Family members say that Linda was known for always having her contagious laugh and her love of soap operas and "Two and a Half Men". She was also known for always having her fingernails polished. Linda was preceded in death by her husband Edward (Skeet) Hairston, Jr., mother Inez Hudson, sisters Cathy Ann and Mollie, brothers Randy Lewis and Timothy Lee, and her favorite aunt Frances Hudson. Linda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jeffrey Anthony; daughter, Anika Anthony; twin sister, Brenda Lynch; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ellis, Linda (Billy) Saunders, and Agnes Lofton; best friend, Shirley Merriweather; 7 grandsons, Zandtania Patrick II, Daivone Blakely, Johnathan Anthony, Timothy Anthony, Jalen Bradley, Landon Jarmon, and Elijah Barr; and a host of cousins.
