Linda Kay Prentice was born March 5, 1953, in Welch, West Virginia to the late Charles and Mildred (Griffith) Prentice. Linda attended The Ohio State University for two years. She was a career Phlebotomy Supervisor. Linda was also an Ordained Elder and loved the Word of God. She was a song and play writer along with being an avid reader and writer of Christian books. Linda was known for her sense of humor, lively conversations and her wisdom. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; brothers, Stephen Prentice, Howard Prentice and Charles Prentice Jr.; sisters, Jamie Bennett and Janice Cunningham. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dionna Prentice-Burwell (Ashley) of Columbus, Ohio; her granddaughters, Kiana James and Rachelle Jeter of Columbus, Ohio; special grandson, Donavan Reed (Mika) of Columbus, Ohio; her brothers, Dudley (Bev) Prentice of Steubenville, Ohio and Dale (Belinda) Taylor of Smithfield, Virginia; her sisters, Drema (Derrick) Kaufman of Steubenville, Ohio, Charlene Prentice of Winterville, Ohio, Stephanie (Kermit) Jeter of Columbus, Ohio; a special sister Margaret Johnson of Snellville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
