Linwood Cortez Grady Jr. was born on October 1, 1935 to Eunice and Linwood Grady in Columbus, Ohio. On Friday November 8, 2013 he departed this life at Mt Carmel West hospital in Columbus, OH. Linwood attended 12th Avenue Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from Linden McKinley High School. Linwood served in the United States Air Force from October 28,1954 until his Honorable Discharge on May 23, 1958 as a Jet Engine Mechanic. After returning home from the military he worked as a Auto Mechanic and a Self Employed Contractor. He was most proud of the home he completely built for a friend, on his own from the ground up.Linwood loved all people, friends and foes alike, he never heard an unkind word.He was a member of the Rare Blood Motorcycle Club. Preceded in death by his parents, Linwood and Eunice Grady; sister, Bertha Woodson; brother, George Grady. Survived by sister, Alma Wade; brothers, Michael (Chy) Grady, Alvis Grady, Vinson Grady, Darrell (Pam) Grady, daughters, Karla Thornton, Risé Stevens; son, Terry Grady and a host of Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
