Lorenzo Jones

Lorenzo Jones, born December 6, 1956 to the union of Havert and Lucille Jones, passed on from this life on Monday, October 19, 2020. He retired from Ross Labs after many years of service. Lorenzo, affectionately known as “Renny” to his family and friends, was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. His passion was playing his base guitar with his band. His hobbies were camping, fishing, and playing pool. Renny especially enjoyed spending time with his brothers, other family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Havert and Lucille Jones, sister Ernestine Murphy and granddaughter Vionnah Simpson. Lorenzo leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Cheryl Jones; six children, Brandy, Lorenzo H., Antwaun, Deyone, Tanesha Michelle (Lamont) Benberry; brother’s, Mark (Phyllis) Jones, Larry (Andera) Jones; sister, Jackie (Jimmy) Sullivan; 14 grandchildren, two uncles, one aunt; special nephew, Troy Murphy; special cousin, Orlando Rhodes; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
