Louis Johnson, 79, born March 11, 1936 in Yazoo City, MS, passed away January 13, 2016. A U.S. Army veteran and the proprietor of Johnson’s Auto Garage located on Leona Avenue, Louis was also a brick mason and enjoyed gardening. Preceded in death by parents Allen and Dorothy Johnson, and brothers, O.C. and William. Survived by wife, Betty; sons, Victor Johnson and Charles Miller; stepdaughters, Mary (Allen) Johnson, Teri (Kevin) Johnson, and Denise (Rinnie) Lowery; brothers, Melvin (Helen), Lee, and James (Mary) Johnson; sisters, Verlena (James) Headd of Weir, MS, Dorothy (LeRoy) Brown, and Diane (Robert) Harris; grandchildren, Casey, Cameron, James, and Tierney; sister-in-law Patricia Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
