Luther T. Craft was born January 21, 1944 in Chatham, Virginia to the late Archie Craft and Gracie E. Small. Luther retired from Buckeye Steel, in Columbus, Ohio several years ago and had just simply been enjoying life while watching ball games. He was a born again Christian and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior in the late ‘90s. He often spoke of how the good Lord had kept him over the years. Luther departed this earthly life on December 12, 2011 at Grant Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 20 years, Maxine Craft. Those left to celebrate his memory are brothers, Jerry L. (Judith) White and Charlie C. (Mary) White Jr.; sisters, Novella Blankenship (Mark Corneillie), of Abilene, Texas and Gracie M. (Edward) Tyree and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
