Mae Ruth Roberts

Mae Ruth Roberts went home to join the Lord and her husband on May 12, 2018. She was born November 15, 1929 in Lorado, West Virginia. She was employed by The Ohio State University for over 35 years. She enjoyed family, traveling, gambling and, in her younger days, swimming. Mae took great pride in attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren‘s athletic events while nurturing and guiding all of her family and children. She served as a member of the usher board at Saint Dominic Church. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Annie Mae Scott, brothers, Everett and Seymour Scott, and her husband of 56 years, Joseph Eugene Roberts. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Leonard) Copeland; two sons, Wayne A. Roberts and Marcellus Roberts of Denver, Colorado; brother Arthur Scott; grandchildren, Leonard Copeland, II, Melissa Freed, Shane C. Roberts, Nicole and Sabrina Roberts; eight great grandchildren; special niece/daughter Lois Spurlock; Teri Roberts; friend/son Roger E. Boyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
