Maggie M. Ross passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning May 23, 2014. The daughter of the late Walter and Ruby McCloud. The family moved to Columbus, OH in 1959. She was a graduate of Columbus East High School in 1970. Maggie married Percy Ross in 1971 and from that union 2 sons were born Marvin and Eric Ross. She attended Columbus State for a short while studying Business Administration. Maggie's first job was at Ohio Bell where she worked for over 30 years and retired, as a Project Manager. After leaving Ohio Bell in 2000, Maggie continued to work holding various positions at other company and was dedicated to whatever position she held. Maggie found the Lord as a young woman at Shiloh Baptist Church. She finally joined New Faith Ministries, where she fell in love with the Sunday school department. She enjoyed teaching the little ones about the Lord and loved to volunteer for the food pantry feeding and other church auxiliaries. Maggie is preceded in death by her parents Walter Ruby McCloud, granddaughter Diavion Ross, grandson Lotrell W. Lunsford, brother Charles McCloud, nephew Brian McCloud, sister-in-law Karla McCloud. Maggie Leaves to cherish her memory sons Marvin Ross and Eric (Deadria) Ross; siblings, Willie Mc Cloud, Hubert McCloud of Dayton Ohio, James (Connie) McCloud of Johnstown, Milton McCloud, Lorain Smith, Joan (Stan) McCloud Brisco; grandchildren DaChristian Lunsford-Ross, Deondre Lunsford-Ross, Danyza Ross, DaShawn Lunsford, Deon Lunsford, Joshua Denton and Rico Denton; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews and family of New Faith Ministries.
