Mamie Lee Russell

Mamie Lee Russell, age 92, of Columbus OH , passed on to be with the Lord on Monday, October 8, 2012 at St Ann's Hospital. Born July 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Ethel Dansby. She was a former member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church, and a retiree of the Ohio State University. She was predeceased by her husband, William Rudolph Russell; sons, Frank and Rudy Russell; great-grandchildren, Shawn Russell and Jakara Harris; sister, Mae Dansby-Ridley, and brothers, George, Arthur, Archie and Elijah Dansby. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Dolores Nutter and Adell Dean; sons, Terrell Russell and William Lee Russell; stepchildren, Randy, Rita, Dennis, and Karen Russell; special nephew, Fred (Vonzie) Dansby; daughter-in-law, Rachel Holbert Russell; 37 grandchildren, and many great-grand, great-great-grandchildren, and many friends.
