Marcia Bell Love

Marcia A. Bell-Love passed away on April 22, 2018. She was born on March 31, 1952 in Columbus, OH to Hattie P. Bell and the late George H. Bell. Marcia was baptized as an infant at St. Paul and joined the church as a young adult. She was a member of the YPD, Christian Endeavor, Jr. Usher, Youth and YoAdCo choirs. She also played piano for Sunday School. Marcia graduated from East High school where she played in the marching band. She received her Bachelor's degree from Ohio Dominican College where she played on the girl's basketball team. Marcia was a licensed independent social worker and retired from Franklin County Support Enforcement with 30 years of service. Marcia and husband Seth were married in St. Paul in 1997. She enjoyed roller skating, billiards and swimming, and bowled on a former St. Paul league. Marcia cherished family time with Seth and daughter Sydney. Her brief time with granddaughter Malaiya brought her much joy. Marcia is survived by her husband Seth; daughter, Sydney; granddaughter, Malaiya; mother, Hattie Bell; sisters, Deirdre and Phyllis Bell; niece, Adrienne Ray; nephews, George and Jarred Ray; great nieces Hadassah and Brooklyn Lathon, Aneika Ray, Yasmine Ray-Thompson, Nia Ray; and great nephew Jayden Ray.
