Margaret R. Sidney

Margaret R. Sidney departed this life on July 19, 2012 at her residence. Born May 3, 1921 in Brookside, Alabama to Lovell Richardson and Ozell Collins Richardson. She was also a long time residence of Whitman, WV. Margaret was a member of the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church for more than thirty years serving in the Gospel/Sanctuary choirs, Seasoned Citizens and Welcome Committee ministries. She served as Secretary for the Aracoma High School Alumni Columbus Chapter. She retired from The Ohio State University. Preceded in death by parents, Lovell and Ozell Richardson; husband, Abe Sidney; son, Robert Sidney; brother, Reverend Lovell Richardson, Jr. and sister, Evelyn Dotson. Left to cherish her memory; six brothers and two sisters; Ivan (Daisy) Richardson, Columbus, OH; Lloyd (Viceta) Richardson, Columbus, OH; Reginald (Clara) Richardson, Springfield, OH; Wilbur (Irene) Richardson, Concord, NC; Gerald (Cleo) Richardson, Columbus, OH; Bernard Richardson, Dayton, OH; sisters, June (Charles) Thomas, Fairborn, OH; and Jacqueline Dixon, Dayton, OH; sister-in-law, Lauracenia Richardson, Ruther Glen, VA.; three grandchildren; Yeva Harper, Tina Alexander and Eric Sidney; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
