Margery A. Wilkins (Margie Ann) passed away on December 11, 2020. She was a resident of Columbus, Ohio. Margie Ann was born May 17, 1943, in Orangeburg, SC, to Thomas and Maggie Brown. Upon the untimely passing of her father in 1950, she moved with her mother to Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Columbus South High School in 1961. After graduation, she began working for the Franklin County Clerk of Court for a few years until she began a career at Battelle Memorial Institute for many more years. She eventually went back to work for the Clerk of Court until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. One of her closest friends was Jeanette Johnson. She also enjoyed movies and listening to music, especially Marvin Gaye, the Supremes and the Four Tops. Margie Ann was a quiet and beautiful soul who will be missed by her friends and family. Margie Ann is survived by her sons, Robert H. Diggs Jr., (Gloria), Thomas J. Diggs, and Brian C. Diggs (Tonya); daughter, Franceen Edwards (Frankie Jr.); her grandchildren Jerome Fisher, Thomas Robinson, Robert H. Diggs III, Kennedy Boyette, Frankie Edwards III and Ayden Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren who will miss her greatly.

Beginning at 9AM, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Margery’s memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
