Margrette Ann Booker

Margrette Ann “Mimi” Booker, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Margrette was born on June 27, 1955. She was the eldest of six children to the late Robert Thomas Booker and Mary Ruth (Joyce) Booker. Margrette was never afraid to speak her mind. She did not have a problem with expressing to you how she felt about a situation. Her daughter, Keisha often told her that she should have been a private investigator because she always had a way of finding out the truth. Margrette loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be dearly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her and the privilege of loving her. She is preceded in death by sisters, Stacey Booker and Mary Harper and brother Walter “Mookie” Booker. She leaves behind daughter, Keisha Booker and grandson, Marwan “Trey” Booker; sister, Caroline Booker; brother, Robert William Booker; brother-in-law, James Harper; special nieces, Tatiyana “Bitty” and Jordan Booker and a host of other family members and friends.
