Marguerite Jane (Wallace) James

Marguerite J. James, age 96, born January 12, 1917 in Monmouth, Illinois, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013 at her Columbus residence. A graduate of Bradley College (Peoria, Illinois) and a World War II Army Veteran, Marguerite had been a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church since 1962 and retired from The Ohio State University after 21 years of dedicated service as a supervisor in the Dietary Department. In 1991, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Donald R. James. She is survived by a host of family and friends, including cousin Richmond Jones of Chicago, Illinois; dear friend and long time caregiver, Harry A. Jackson, Sr., and special friend Grace Brown.
