Marguerite Linda (Gray) Guess

Marguerite Linda Guess, 66, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016. The eldest of 6 children, Linda graduated from Watterson High School and later became employed with Southern Bell Telephone Company in Georgia. Later, she would return to Columbus, Ohio, and work for Ohio Bell, the State of Ohio, CMACAO and Let the Children Come. Preceded in death by her husband Donald Guess, Jr. and father William R. Gray. Survived by three children, Helena, Germino, and lyana; mother Hellen C. Gray; grandchildren, Augustine, Tariq, Thalia, Amaira, Kareem Jr. and Kenise; siblings, Deborah, Elissa, Madonna, Sheila (David), and Joseph; brother-in-law Darrell (Mary) Guess; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Celebration of Life 10 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2016 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St., where her family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the start of service. Interment Northlawn Memory Gardens.
