She was born in Urbana, OH to the late Everett (Mac) McDonald and the late Lucille (Till) Simpson McDonald.

Her husband of 35 years, Charles M. Jackson of Bellefontaine, OH, and her sister’s, Earline Nowlin and Janice Sallie, precedes her in death. She had many family members on the Jackson side that also preceded her in death.

Her children Tamara Jackson and Aaron (Elyshua) Jackson Sr., grandchildren Kelli Howell (Matt Duvall), Aaron Jackson Jr., and Anthony Charles Hines survive her. She is also survived by Everett (Tina) McDonald, Cynthia (Eddie) Gwinn, Anna (Menthorn) Williams, Hank (Janet) Jackson, Christine (late Earl) Stewart, many nieces, nephews, friends, church family, and friends of family.

Marilyn was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church where she was the church clerk for many years.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at The Good Shepherd Baptist Church 1555 E Hudson St, Columbus, OH 4321.
