Marilyn V. Reese was born on September 3, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio; to Richard and Belia Warren. She was the youngest of her brother, Loydd and two sisters, Sandy and Lavon. Before ever attending school, she met her lifetime best friend, Jackie Allen. Marilyn graduated from East High School, of Columbus, OH. Marilyn loved working in the community and in 1979, she began a new career with Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority. She so enjoyed her work and all the people she worked with. After 25 years of service Marilyn retired, but even after retirement, she continued working in the community to help those in need. Marilyn loved family, friends and enjoying life. She appreciated the time she spent with her grandkids and her great grandchildren kept her most entertained with their curiosities. She really enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. If ever there was a complete life, she would say for her it was more than that…. To have lived and loved was to fill the soul with heavenly grace. Marilyn departed this life on July 6, 2011.
