Jeanette was Valedictorian of her class. She went on to graduate from Charleston Career College in West Virginia and American Institute of Paralegal Studies in Columbus Ohio. In October 1975 Jeanette met Gary Morris at McDonald’s restaurant in Charleston, West Virginia. They were married the following September and settled in Columbus Ohio to begin their family. Gerizim Missionary Baptist Church in 1996 where she served as President of the Usher Board, Treasurer of the Deaconess Board, Trustee Board Member, Pastor Aide, Recording Secretary, Member of Tabitha Ministries, Vacation bible school teacher and Assistant Church Clerk. Jeanette had a love for family and friends. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and she loved traveling. She was a loving mother and a great hostess.
