MARION Q. BOWERS was born on Wednesday, May 19, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of Eubanks Rozelle and Ola Mae (Jackson) Price. Marion was a high school graduate and had completed some college courses. She loved the Lord and was affiliated with the Baptist Faith. Marion was employed as a security guard with the State of Ohio. Outside of work, she enjoyed cooking, listening to music, poetry, art, and discussing politics. It was her joy to work the polls during elections. Our beloved Marion entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was 72 years of age. In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bowers and siblings, Peggy Thomas, Lawrence Price Jr., Van Rozelle, and Ronald Watkins. Loving memories are cherished by her children, Noel, Jackie, Billy, Diana, and Paul; siblings, Booty, Richard, Gerald, Reggie, Demarco, and Roberta; other family members and many friends.

Beginning at 1:00pm, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Marion’s memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
