Mark Evan Scott

Mark (Scotty) Evan Scott, age 51, born September 10, 1960, went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2012. He was a lifetime member of Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith. He worked for Nationwide Insurance as a computer programmer. He was a certified volleyball official and served as an umpire with Columbus Parks and Recreation. Mark enjoyed spending time with family and close friends, and was always the life of the party. Mark enjoyed playing darts and was a member of Moose Lodge #1245 Dart League. He also enjoyed golfing, travelling, playing softball, and was a huge fan of the Oakland Raiders. Mark was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his father, Harold E. Scott and mother, Elnitta M. Scott. Mark is survived by his loving wife, Tonnetta Y. Scott; children, Sherry White, of North Carolina; Christopher Scott, Tiffany Scott, Paige Scott, Maurice Gaskins, Talea Gaskins, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Tavian, Tory, Tyson White, of North Carolina; Mia Scott of Columbus. Brothers, Michael Scott and Malcom (Michele) Scott of Columbus; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
