Marlena Stowe was born to the late Wesley Greenfield and Lucille Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her siblings. Winona Winfield, Wesley Greenfield Sr., Charles Greenfield and Eugene Greenfield. She leaves her daughter and caregiver Rayjeanna Stowe, son Raymond Stowe Jr. and grandson Xavier Stowe. As well as host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved friend and prayer partner in Christ Barbara Robinson. Marlena as young child received Christ in her life at Bethany Baptist Church. She also loved ballet and was amateur ballet dancer and gave many recitals. Marlena graduated from Central High School in Columbus Ohio. She then graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in Medical Technology. After that she started her 30-year career in the Laboratory at The Ohio State University Hospitals. Upon her retirement being a devoted daughter, she was her father's caregiver until he passed. Then she became a devoted grandmother and provided childcare for her grandson until he attended school. Marlena did not only give of her time and support to family, but she also gave money to many Christian Ministries. She was a Great Woman of Faith. The family knew that if you needed prayer our Beloved Aunt Sissie would put you on her prayer list. She was the family's personal prayer Warrior. A prayer Warrior is one who is connected to God intimately and consistently seeks to learn more about Him, from His word and uses their prayer time as a battleground for change. That was Marlena Stowe.
