Marlin Demico Johnson, age 30, born March 31, 1980, was called home on Saturday, December 4, 2010 after a sudden unexpected illness. A graduate of West High School, he attended Columbus State Community College and was employed by Café Brioso. Marlin chose to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation, saving up to nine lives. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Brent, Destani, Tamara, and Ay-Mia; father Harold Wilson (April); mother Monica Johnson; siblings, Milyn, Mikel, Brandon, Jaqueline, and Christy; his grandparents, great grandmother, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends. Celebration of Life 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the start of service. Elder William A. Johnson, III, officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
