Martha Fisher

Martha Susan "Susie" Fisher (Haney) gained her wings on April 9, 2024 at Grant Hospital. She was born September 25, 1945 in Sutton, West Virginia and is preceded in death by her parents Jessie Mae (Lewis) Haney and Roy Calvin Haney.

She is survived by her three children Darina Suzanne (Fisher) Cooper, Robert Scott Fisher, and Sabrina Dawn Fisher. She was a loving grandmother to her five grandchildren, Charise Noelle Cooper, Christopher Scott Fisher, Jasmine Ellise Cooper Pierce, Robert Jordan Fisher and Tyler Morgan Fisher, her six great grandchildren Aria Elizabeth Pearl, Amira Naomi, Ajani Noelle, June-Adoree, Apryll Nubia and Aubrie-Jru.

She was also a wonderful sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many who will always remember her as a kind hearted soul.

A retiree from Children's Hospital, St. Ann's Hospital and Twin Valley Behavioral Hospital, she enjoyed music and sports. Especially West Virginia Mountaineers, Ohio State Buckeyes and Columbus Crew.

She was a long time member of The Community of Holy Rosary St. John's Church and was a member of the choir for many years. Susie had a heart of gold and will be missed very much. Her smile and sense of humor will live on with all who knew her.

Services will be at Diehl Whittaker Funeral Home 1370 East Main Street, Columbus, Ohio Monday April 22nd, 2024. Visitation 11am to 12pm with the service immediately following at noon.
