Marty Blair

Marty Blair was born July 9, 1959 in Bennettsville, South Carolina. At one time, he lived in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York; however, he has been a resident of Columbus, Ohio for nearly thirty years. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Vassar College, in New York, and worked in both the security and pest control industries for some time before he was no longer able to work. Raised in church from an early age, Marty was most recently a member of Joshua's Generation Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Femi Oyewusi. He had a personal interest in fitness related hobbies including aerobics, kickboxing, bowling, and running; he enjoyed playing checkers as well. On January 31, 2016, at the age of 56, Marty was called home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. Blair and Mary Blair. He is survived by his sister Sasha, fiancee Regina Reid, and a host of other loved ones and friends.
