Marva Renae Haynes

Marva Renae Beasley Haynes, age 66 passed away May 7, 2021 after a brief illness. Marva was born January 9, 1955, in Atlanta, GA to the late Willie James Beasley and Mary Annelle (Lakes) Beasley Martin. She graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1973 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. She was honorably discharged and continued her government service with the U.S. Postal Service and retired from the Franklin County Veterans Service Commission. After 40 years Marva reconnected with her shipmate and soulmate, Wendell Haynes. They were married September 12, 2015. Marva was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Omar, and a doting grandmother to Brindara. Marva was preceded in death by her parents, Willie James Beasley and Mary Annelle Lakes Martin Beasley; brothers, Patrick and Kenneth Beasley; special aunt and uncle, Herman and Mildred Copeland. Marva leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Wendell; a son, Omar (Kimberly) Marshall; granddaughter, Brindara Allen-Marshall; great grandson, Pryncenasir Hussein; devoted sister, Frances "Geney" Beasley and numerous family members, coworkers, and friends.
