Mary Alice Warner was born June 29, 1941, the eldest daughter of Archie and Mary jane Bane, in Wilmington, WV. Mary lived in Brooklyn NY until she reached junior high school. Her family relocated to Columbus OH where she attended Garfield Junior High School and Central High School. It was while in high school Mary discovered her love of sewing and met her future husband Beuford Keith Warner. Mary and Beuford soon married after high school. This union produced two children Pier (Angel) and LePedro (Pete). Mary and Beuford both shared a love for fishing and billiards. In November of 1998 tragedy struck, Mary would lose her son and husband within 24 hours of each other. After the death of her husband and son, Mary retired from the Columbus School Board, where she was employed in facility management for 20+ years. After retirement Mary spent her remaining years doing what she loved sewing/arts and crafts. She would spend many hours with her daughter creating many beautiful crafts such hats, scarves, dress etc. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Beuford Keith Warner; parents Archie and Mary jane Bane, and son LePedro Warner. She is survived by her daughter Pier Angela Warner (Columbus, OH); sister Gloria Sams (Columbus, OH); granddaughters Tiffany Warner, Consuela Braswell, Shawndera Warner, Teyuna Braswell (all Columbus, OH); grandsons LePedro Warner Jr., Pierre Bosley (both of Columbus OH); goddaughter Kim Berryman (Columbus, OH); Aunts Ruth(Bill) Bane-Allen (Cleveland, OH), Lucy Foster (Detroit, MI), Sarah (Percy)Taylor (Columbus, OH) and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
