Mary Belle Robinson was born on June 6, 1923, in Urbancrest, Ohio, to the wonderful belated parents, Samuel and Grace Hairston. Mary was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. One of her favorite activities performed for family, church family, and the Urbancrest community was her preparing homemade rolls by the hundreds. On Wednesday, September 3, 2014, while in Hospice Care of Franklin County at The Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital, Mary Belle went on to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her loving sister, son, daughter, family and friends. Her husband, Howard Robinson, Sr., preceded her in death. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Carolyn L. Galloway; son, Bishop Howard Robinson, II (Evelyn); sister, Joan Jones; grandchildren, Ashley Galloway, Dionne Robinson, Angela Imran, and Howard Robinson, III; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family, and lifelong friends. In her last days, she continued to fight against the disease that sought to destroy her. The impact of her life was felt in varied parts of the country and other parts of the world.
