Mary Byrdsong Thompson

Mary L. Byrdsong-Thompson (1929-2023), age 94, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on the morning of Thursday, November 9, 2023.

She was born in Rome, Georgia on August 12, 1929. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, her husband, Cecil Thompson, Jr, daughter-in-law, Constance Byrdsong and granddaughter, Effaney Mills.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories son, Willie Byrdsong; grandson, Michael Mills; granddaughter, Shirley Hairston; great-grandchildren, Tomika, Keith, Tierra and Malik Mills; nine great-great-grandchildren; aunt, Eva; goddaughter, Robin Ross and a host of family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00am at Eastlawn Cemetery, 1340 Woodland Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43219.
