Mary Catherine 'Kitty' Whiters-Henley

Mary Catherine “Kitty” Whiters Henley, was born on January 28, 1966 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. She was summoned by a Heavenly Call to rest on Tuesday, August 28, 2010 at 8:34 a.m. Mary graduated from South High School, she attended many college courses and she worked as a Medical Assistant at Grant Hospital. She did community service and she worked at East Columbus Food Service. She loved being around family and friends and she enjoyed helping others. Her warmth, kindness and happy demeanor made her many friends. In Mary’s eyes, there was no such thing as a stranger. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Whiters; her grandparents, Robert and Eula Israel, George and Georgia Henley, and Mertle Whiters, and brothers, uncles, aunts and cousins. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, a devoted mother, Ethel D. Israel (Jewels Singleton); father, Willie (Chystals) Henley; children, Robert (Ann) Foster IV, Sexton Henley, Deston Henley, and Imari Henley; grandchildren, Essence, Azacia, Alissa, Robert V, Nolan and Kasen Henley; siblings, Wileen Henley, Cassandra Henley, Wilie Henley Jr., Nicke Whiters and Albe Whiters; uncles, Robert (Maggie) Israel, Arthur Israel, Joe Israel, Abrie L. Henley and George Henley; aunts Loriane (Isaac) Baker, Dorothy (Milton) Moses, Louella Israel, Vera Sloan, Nellie Smith, Archie Jones, Survilla May Jones, Rosa Isaac and Lucille Deakins.
