Mary Ceal Tartt

Mary Ceal Tartt was born July 2, 1931 to John Howze Sr. and Eula Mae Jackson in Hamburg, Alabama. She departed this life on May 15, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband David Tartt, sons Edward Goines Jr., Larry Goines, Clarence Goines, and Ronald Goines, father John Howze Sr., mother Eula Mae Jackson, brothers Sam Parnell, BJ Parnell, Ocie Howze, and Val Howze. She is survived by her son David Goines, sisters Katherine Garrett, Loretta Rogers, Elzennia (Frank) Glover, brothers John Howze Jr., Carl (Denise) Howze Sr. and Willard Parnell. Grandchildren Edwynna Freeman, Ronald Goines, Maxine Hardiman, Mandy Hardiman, Harper Holland, and a host of great and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  Mary was a prayer warrior and loved spending time in church. She had such a sweet humble giving spirit. She lit up a room with her beautiful smile. A devout Christian, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend, Mary will be deeply missed. Order
