Mary Louise Noble

August 14, 1927 — October 22, 2021

Mary Louise Noble was born on August 14, 1927 in Zanesville, Ohio to Reuben and Ada Allen. She attended school in Zanesville after which she lived in Colorado and California before returning to Ohio where she remained. Mary relocated to Columbus where she met her husband, Sandy G. Noble, Jr. They were united in marriage for 44 years and blessed with three children. An amazing wife, mother, and homemaker, Mary’s care and kindness for her family made such an impact on a number of her children’s friends, nieces, and nephews that many considered her to be a mother to them as well. In March 2008, Mary joined Tabernacle Baptist Church where she faithfully attended and loved her church family. She looked forward to Sunday morning service, hearing the preached Word, and seeing her church family. She was looking forward to the day the church would reopen after the pandemic, asking often, “Is the church open yet”? Mary also enjoyed Tuesday Noonday Bible Study. She did not allow her children to schedule any of her appointments on that day. If they did, she would say, “Well, I am not going, I have bible study that day”. Mary loved gardening the gorgeous flowers in her front yard and beautiful plants inside her home. She looked forward to spring when she could get her yard together, plant new flowers, and watch the perennials return to their beauty. This past summer when she was not in her home, she would ask whether all of her flowers had died, and she would be assured that they were doing okay. Then Pamela would go to the house and take pictures of the flowers and the yard so that she could see that everything was still beautiful as she remembered it and that would make her smile. On Friday, October 22, 2021, Mary peacefully went to her heavenly home. She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Sandy R. Noble; and daughter, Melissa L. Noble. To know Mary was to love her. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Pamela (Craig) Elder; grandson, Stanley (Micah) Fleming III; granddaughters, Bria and Tia Elder; great-granddaughter, Jatavia Fleming; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
