Maurice Franklin Crouch, Sr., 84, departed this life on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at his residence. Born in Sedalia, MO, and reared in St. Joseph, MO, where he received his primary education. Maurice served in the U.S. Army and came to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University, where he met his wife. He retired from Motorists Mutual Insurance Company and was a member of First A.M.E. Zion Church. Maurice was an avid Bridge player, winning many trophies and tournaments, and reaching Diamond Life Master Status. He adored and spoiled his grandchildren at all times. Preceded in death by parents, Laura B. and William Eugene Crouch, Sr., siblings, Madora, William Jr., Roy, Robert, Herbert, Harold, Virgie, and Charles Crouch. Survived by sons, Maurice Jr., Douglas (Tonya), Vincent (Helaine), and Eric Crouch; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
