Maxine Jadon 'Max' Wade

Maxine Jadon Wade, age 26, born December 3, 1989 in Columbus, OH, passed early Monday morning, March 28, 2016, in an automobile accident caused by a drunk driver. Named after her maternal grandmother, Max as she was so fondly called, attended Independence High School where she was a cheerleader. Preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Maxine Wade, and paternal grandfather Muriel McMullen. Survived by her daughter Mauree Wade; son KingMaxx Crowell; mother Lois D. Wade; father Craig McMullen; fiancé Thomas Crowell; brother Sylvanus Wade; paternal grandmother Doris McMullen; longtime family friend and father figure, Donald Cox; special extended family members, Tierra Marie Carter and Akilah Lorraine Howell; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

The calling hours and funeral service for Maxine will be performed as a joint Homegoing Celebration which will also honor the lives of her loved ones, Carlisa Crowell, Tahja Freeman, and Aubrey Willoughby. Please be advised that the families will receive visitors until 11:45 a.m., at which time, guests will be asked to be seated as preparations are made to begin transitioning into the formal ceremony. In consideration and respect for the families, please plan to arrive before this time.
