Michael Leon Hall, son of Prince and Elsie Hall was born September 3, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. He departed this life Saturday, June 25, 2022. He was a graduate of East High School. Following high school, he worked many jobs but had a love for auto mechanics and machinery. He worked as a machinist at Buckeye Steel Casting Company for over 35 years until it closed in 2000. He completed his training for a Commercial Driver, received his license and went to work as a driver at Waste Management. Michael demonstrated entrepreneurship when he opened his own business known as “J&M Cleaning and Hauling” and obtained contracts through the State of Ohio Department of Aging. He shared his business knowledge with his son and others. Michael never missed an opportunity to do special activities with his son, especially fishing. He had a great passion for cooking, loved to experiment with cooking all types of cuisine, not to mention his love for German chocolate cake with pecan icing. During Michael’s adult life, he began attending Zion Christian Assembly under the late Bishop William M. Polley in which he was baptized, and would attend church regularly as long as his health permitted. He was preceded in death by parents, Prince & Elsie Hall. Michael leaves to cherish his memories his son Michael Benjamin, special friend Betty Hunter, sisters Monica Hall and Debbie (Kenny) Tidwell. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
