Michael "Mikey" Thompkins

Michael Deshaun Thompkins “Mickey”, age 36, was born February 20, 1982 in Columbus, Ohio at Riverside Hospital to Michelle and Anthony Thompkins. On December 4, 2018, he was called home to be with the Lord. Mickey was born with trisomy 5. Doctors said he would not make it out of his adolescence, but Mickey was a born fighter. He continued to fight numerous health problems throughout his life, but he never complained and always did it with a smile. Mickey was and outgoing, charismatic, good hearted, one of a kind human being that made an impression on every person he met. Mickey leaves behind, his mother, Michelle Oakman; father, Anthony Thompkins; brother, Demetrius Oakman; sisters, Tiffany Oakman and Angela Thompkins; nieces, Damisha, Elyna, and Selena; nephews, Demetrius, Jr., Dulane, Dante, and Jaiden; and far too many to Mikey will be sincerely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving.
