Mildred Elaine 'Millie' (Tolliver) Pope

Mildred Elaine Pope was born August 19, 1926 to Eugene Tolliver and Murriel Bailey Tolliver in Gary, Indiana. She was the youngest of three children. She retired from a career with the federal government during which she was employed at the Defense Construction Supply Center (DCSC) in Columbus. Millie loved to travel and had a passion for music. On Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the age of 89, Mildred departed her earthly life while at her Columbus, Ohio residence. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her son Maurice, sister Ella, and former husband, William. Mildred leaves behind a sister, Marie; nephew Keith; great grandson Chadd; two great granddaughters; seven great-great grandchildren, former husband Charles; and a host of other relatives, including Judy Hatcher, Thelma Holland, and Hal Williams. She will be remembered as a beacon of shining light among her family and loved ones.
