Milton Vales Posley III was born on January 3, 1963 in the little town of Earl, Arkansas. The oldest of his siblings, he was always protective of them. He would often tell his mother that he did not need anything, just to ensure that his sisters and brothers would not go without. As a child, Milton was very intelligent and loving. He always enjoyed spending time with his grandparents. Milton attended and graduated from Dorchester High School in Boston, Mass. While in school, he excelled in his academics and really enjoyed playing football. His fellow classmates saw him as a quiet and gentle giant that had no problem making friends anywhere he went. After his graduation, Milton moved to Akron, Ohio where he enrolled in the University of Akron. He decided to pursue his dream of studying criminal law and business. After college, Milton went on to work at the Akron Storage Warehouse for eight years. While working in the shipping and receiving department, he won many awards for accuracy and safety. Being such a gifted man, he taught himself to play the keyboard and even composed his own songs. Milton also loved to cook and became a perfectionist with his dishes, putting love into each meal. In 2008, Milton moved to Columbus, Ohio where he became a member of the Columbus Christian Center Church. He always kept many bibles and put his faith whole-heartedly in the Lord. A staple in his family and community, he was loved by anyone he came into contact with. Many people were heavily impacted by the passing of Milton. He touched so many lives and had a special bond with everyone in his life. On Saturday, July 1, 2017, at the young age of 54, Milton was called home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and special aunt Ruth Posley. He is survived by his mother, Christine Larde; father, Milton Vales, Jr.; sisters, Allicia Posley, Jacqueline Posley, and Cherelle Posley (Eddie) McBride, Taylor Vales, Kimberly Powers, and Latonja Vales; brothers, Milon Poole, Antonio (Tara) Larde Jonathan Vales, and Joshua Vales; children, Cecil Rudolph, Andrea Rudolph, Yasmin Posley, and Malik Posley; four grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
