On April 25, 2021, Moses George Carrreker, husband and father, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 93. On November 21, 1950, he married Impearl Milner. They raised three sons, Moses (Larry), Raymond and Mark. Moses George Carreker was born on January 16, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to George and Rosie (Jackson) Carreker. He worked at the The Metal Forge Company for 28 years. Subsequently, he was also an employee with Lang Stone Co., The Columbus Public School System and Pinkerton Security. He enlisted into the United States Army in January, 1946 and served with the 59th Trucking Company in Germany. He was honorably discharged in February, 1948. While in the army, he spent time studying and practicing the art of boxing. Soon after leaving the service, George bought a homestead in the country to become a gentleman farmer while simultaneously commuting to his day job in Columbus. George was preceded in death by his loving wife, Impearl Milner; his father, George; mother, Rosie; his brother; David Carreker; and sisters Ida Martin, Estella Coleman, Catherine Forman, Annabelle Eusary, Pauline Jackson and Lillie West. He is survived by his three sons, Larry, Raymond and Mark; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
