Jewel Audrey Singleton, Singleton, also known his family as Little One age 81, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. He was born on January 23, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Milton and Lavanda Singleton. Singleton was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from DCSC after 34 years of service. He was also an Ohio Lotto winner in 1984. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings, Eldridge Singleton, James Singleton, Milton “Jack” Singleton, Randolph Singleton, Agnew Singleton, Will Ernest Singleton, Sr., Mary McDonald, Ella Louise Singleton Byrd, Barbara Singleton Pettis, Mollie Marie Singleton Davis, and Winston A. Singleton and Alvin Singleton. He is survived by his loving children, Anthony Singleton, Cedric Singleton, Roderick Singleton, Rachel Singleton and Jeremiah Singleton; loving companion, Ethel Israel; her children and a host of nephews, nieces, friends and his twin brother, Julius Singleton of Dallas, TX.
