Myrna May (Neil) Johnson

Myrna M. Johnson passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017. She was the widow of Amos Johnson. They shared 57 years together. Born in Columbus Ohio, she was the only child of Myrtle Johnson. She retired from Columbus Public School System and remained CEO of M.J. Tours, a travel agency, founded by her and her late husband, until her passing. Myrna loved to travel, and the agency traveled annually to the Cincinnati Music Festival for over 50 years. Myrna lived life to the fullest. She loved to party. She cherished her family and friends. In her last days, she came to know the Lord. For this, her family is grateful. She is predeceased by her loving husband Amos Johnson; mother Myrtle Johnson, and grandparents, Mae and Charles Neil. She is survived by her son Travens (Jill) Johnson; daughter Tretta (Ronald) Alexander; granddaughter Janae' Perez; grandsons, D.J. (Seniqua) Christian and SSG Brandon (Jonace) Alexander; special cousins, Rosemary Kimbrough and Terry Elliott; and a host of great grandchildren, other family, and friends.
