Nautica Sharie 'Nauty' Ussury

Nautica Sharie Ussury, affectionately known also as Nauty was born May 11, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a student of the Columbus City Schools where she attended Trevitt Elementary School, Champion Middle School, and she was most recently enrolled as a rising senior in the Class of 2018 at East High School. In her earlier school years, she spent much of her extra curricular time at Sawyer Recreation Center. Nauty could be characterized as a beautiful, friendly, outgoing, people person, who was strong-willed, full of life, and possessed the heart of a tiger. She had an interest in dance and fashion and enjoyed participating in the Adventures for Wish Kids outings to destinations such as Kings Island and Disney World. On August 1, 2017, at the age of 17, Nautica Sharie slipped away to rest in the arms of her Heavenly Father while at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Virgie Turner and Howard Turner, Sr., and godbrothers, Tyquan Lackey and Antwone Bradley. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving parents, Suntina Ussury and Howard A. Turner; sisters, Dynisha Ussury and Destiney Ussury; brother Teddy Johnson; maternal grandmother Juanita Ussury; maternal grandfather Andre Boozer, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Tiarria Ussury, Antwone Ussury, Deountae Ussury, Andre Boozer, Jr., Shantaya Ussury, Marvin Turner, Raynard Turner, Tanika Brown, and Sandra Turner; cousins, Antasia Turner, Virginia NeNe Turner, Demetrius Small, Cartier Small, Mustafa Ussury, Deaunny Ussury, Corrion Jennings, Arreonna Ussury, Antwone Jr., Saniya Ussury, and Nayonna; godmothers LaTosha Hollingsworth and Latasha Brown; godfather Robert Smith; godsisters, Seccence Montgomery, Shayonna Meadows, Shannon Meadows, and Jawanna; godbrother Tyshaun Brown; best friends Shay McClendon and MyAngel Dooley; special family friends, Terri Collier, Anita Bank, Tykia McClendon, and Nicolett Woods; as well as a host of additional cousins, other relatives, and friends to numerous to name.
