Nora K. 'Katie' Watkins

Nora Kate Watkins was born on July 4, 1919 in Palmetto, Georgia to the late William and Clara Davis. Nora K. Watkins celebrated her homegoing on Tuesday evening, December 9, 2014 at Wexner Heritage Village of Columbus, Ohio. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Union Grove Baptist Church in Union City, Georgia. She is preceded in death by brothers, Willie, Elijah and Elisha “Cutty” Davis and sisters, Clara Mae Arnold and Mary E. Scarver. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, one sister, Rosa A. Patrick of Columbus, Ohio; Cecil Wilson whom she raised as a son; nieces, Mary A. Davis of California, Earlene McCall of Columbus, Ohio, Doris (Frank) Nelson of Columbus, Ohio, Clara R. Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, Pauline Cunningham of Atlanta, Georgia, nephew, Earl (Dorothy) Arnold of Union City, Georgia; a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, friends and special consideration to Linda Harris.
