Odrenda M. “Drinky” (Bridges) Frazier, 71, was born June 23, 1941 in Columbus Ohio. She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. She attended West High school and grew up in the Hilltop area. She was a lifetime member of Sigsbee Avenue Church of God. She retired from The Ohio State University, where she worked for many years. Odrenda known to many as “Drinky” was a loving, caring and compassionate woman. She exemplified the phenomenonal woman. She always put her 5 daughters and grandchildren first. Many people loved and called her “Mom and Grandma”. Her home was called the “House of Hope”, you would leave, full of hope, believing you could do anything. She had a passion for cooking big Sunday dinners and enjoyed decorating every holiday. Everyone enjoyed her famous Spaghetti. She was well loved by all those who knew her and felt privileged to have been in her presence. She is preceded her in death by her parents Elneata and James E. Bridges; daughter Carmella Smith; brothers Tommy E. Bridges, Winston H. Bridges and Stephen Bridges. She leaves to cherish her memory 4 daughters, R. Elaine (Lannie) Bridges, Marcella A. Bridges, Annetta Michelle Rogers and Lena O. Smith; Adopted daughter Veno Adkins. 4 brothers, 5 sisters, 10 grandchildren and 6 ½ great-grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
