Oliver Otto Edwards

Oliver Otto Edwards was born August 7, 1927 to Oliver Edwards and Augusta (Gussie) Green, in Columbus, Ohio. Oliver served in the U.S. Army during WWII and received an Honorable Discharge. Oliver married the love of his life Barbara Harrison on July 13, 1950 and they remained married for 67 years and had six children. After 33 years of service he retired from White-Westinghouse and then began his real job of being a full-time grandfather. Oliver is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Gussie Edwards; his loving and devoted wife Barbara (Harrison) Edwards; their eldest son Thomas Edwards; Brothers Pete and Thomas Sisters Virginia, Ethel, Evelyn and Mary . Oliver leaves to cherish his memory sons Gary Edwards and Ronald (Camille) Edwards; daughters Denise Edwards, Marsha Edwards and Kimberly Williams; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Vesta Caldwell, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
