Otis Jewell Henderson

Mr. Otis J. Henderson, 86, of Columbus, OH, entered into eternal rest on October 22, 2013. Otis, a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, was a U.S.M.C. veteran, community leader, Alpha Phi Alpha and Morehouse Man, who loved life and believed in giving back to those who would benefit from his generosity. His many contributions to community service associations, mentoring programs and civic organizations exemplified his grace and humanity towards others. Otis was preceded in death by his parents, sister, late wife, son and a host of other relatives and friends. Otis is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Delores Henderson, brothers Cecil and John (Julia) Henderson; daughters, Pamela Henderson, Robyn (Kevin) Judge, Niki (Brian) Welch and Stacey L. (Howard) Tidwell; grandchildren, Tiffanie, Malcolm, Cory, Mariah, Alex, Nicholas, Sidney, Nathaniel, Adam and Geoffrey and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and several dear friends.
