Pastor Dolores Jordan

February 23, 1929 — February 17, 2016

Pastor Dolores Thedora (Sutherland, Ogden) Jordan was born in Bluefield West Virginia to Emmaline Jenkins and Theodore Sutherland. She founded Bethel Church in St. Clairsville Ohio where she served as pastor. The Lord blessed her with a call to the Apostolic Faith Temple in Bellaire, Ohio where she pastored for 30 years. The church later relocated to Martins' Ferry Ohio, from which she retired in 1996. After retirement Pastor Jordan moved to Columbus, Ohio where she became a member of Elder Thompsons's Church and later Bibleway Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Inc. Under Bishop William C. Letta. Preceded in death by her mother, Emmaline Jenkins, father, Theodore Sutherland, sons, Clarence Maurice Ogden, Mark Langford Ogden and George W. Jordon, grandson Christopher Scott Jordon, husband George Washington Jordan. She is lovingly survived by daughter, Lynette Kay (Jessy) Jordan; grandchildren, Ricky (Karen) Ogdon, Rita (Nathaniel) Chester, Tischa(Anthony) Lee, Jainell R. Dalcaure-Medina, Jermain L.(Tesa Hutcheison) Dalcaure, Jeremy R.JR Dalcaure, Stephanie (Derrick Roberts) Ogdon, Lisa M. Ogden great grandchildren and friends.
