Patricia Ann Cathey

PATRICIA ANN CATHEY , the daughter of Elizabeth and James Robinson, was born in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday, November 10, 1937. She received her formal education from Columbus Public Schools and was a graduate of Central High School. At a young age, Patty was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church. She was employed as a unit clerk at the State Mental Hospital. Patty was a 70-year resident of the Flytown community. She was affectionately called “Mom Pat” and “Patty Mae” by her family and friends. Patty loved to have fun and was the life of the party. Her hobbies were gardening and cooking. She liked to play any card game such as spades and solitaire. Most of all, she loved taking care of her grandchildren. Blessed with 82 years of life, our beloved Patricia Ann Cathey entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 18, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents. Loving memories are cherished by her children, Linda Easley, Elaine (Richard) DeBerry, James J. Cathey, William R. Cathey, and Patricia A. “Nadine” Cathey; grandchildren, Tyra (Jason) Womack, Danielle Cathey, Brandon DeBerry, Bianca Cathey, William Armstrong II, Ashanti (Devon) Combs, Eric DeBerry, Patrice Cathey, Alasha Williams, Aaron Johnson, Thomas Johnson, William Cathey III, and Ahmad Armstrong; and a host of great grandchildren, close family, and friends.
