Patricia Ann Johnson

Ms. Patricia Johnson “Big Mama” was born on June 15, 1947 and she went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was 65 years old. She was the wonderful daughter of Mr. Eugene B. Johnson and beloved grandmother of Annabelle Johnson, who have both gone on to be with the Lord; as well as many other relatives including her sisters, Jeannie and Kathy Tribune; brothers, David and Johnny Tribune and her mother, Pauline Tribune. However, she leaves to cherish her memories, a son and his wife, Vyron E. (Janice) Johnson; grandson, Dustin Moore Johnson; brother, Eugene R. Johnson; sisters, Ms. Barbara Bowles and Vera Johnson; brothers, Calvin (Muriam) Smith; Jerry Thornton and Eddie, Kenny Smith; nephew, Anthony Andrew Brandon and niece, Ann. In addition, her cousins, John Waddy Jr. and Novel Thornton Waddy. Let us not forget her lifelong friends Ms. Patricia Slaughter and Betty Chavis; and many other nieces and nephews. Patricia Ann Johnson graduated from East High School in Columbus. She worked over 30 years for Western Electric, now Lucent Technology. She was an avid Christian who was a faithful member of Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, on Brentnell, under the leadership of Dr. Eugene Lundy. Patricia loved her son, Vyron and his wife, Janice and their son, Dustin. May Christ Jesus welcome her into Heaven as a Good and Faithful Servant of the Lord!!
